2019/9/3 · In the living room of my 1978 end of terrace on the end wall I have a vent measuring 24cm square. I believe it would have been there when the house had a back boiler installed originally. The house has cavity walls and I had cavity wall insulation installed when I first moved in 2 1/2 years ago, but I think the living room doesn't retain its heat because of this vent.

Read More2020/4/19 · Boiler is in my bedroom, I custom fitted a large IKEA wardrobe around the boiler as the room is an awkward size and it's all that would fit. Clearance above is 250mm at present. Boiler is fitted brand new from 2017, HIVE engineer saw it last year and didn't say anything was untoward about my DIY set up.
